What happens next?

  • I'll respond with initial thoughts and probably some questions.
  • We'll arrange a call to talk it through properly. These usually last 30-45 minutes.
  • If we decide to work together, I'll send you a proposal with scope, timeline, and cost. You'll have time to think about it, no pressure.
  • If I'm not the right person: I'll be honest about that, and I'll often suggest someone who might be better suited for what you need.

About timing

I typically work on 2-3 projects at a time, which means:

For new website builds: Usually 6-8 weeks from start to launch, depending on complexity

For refreshes and updates: Often 2-4 weeks

For urgent fixes: Sometimes same-day or next-day for existing clients

If you have a specific deadline, mention it. I can usually work around important dates if I know in advance.

Do you work outside the UK?

Occasionally, but my focus is UK charities, social enterprises, and civic organisations.

Anywhere from £2,000 refreshes to £15,000+ new builds. Most projects fall in the £5,000-8,000 range.

I typically work on a 50% deposit / 50% on completion basis. For projects over £6000 I’m happy to discuss a payment schedule that works for you.

Everything is handled under one monthly or annual fee. 

Includes:

  • Managed UK/EU hosting 
  • WordPress, plugin, and theme updates
  • Daily backups and uptime monitoring
  • Security scanning and firewall management
  • Performance checks
  • Up to 2 hours reactive support per month (fixing issues, troubleshooting, content support)
