RESET Uk is a charity supporting community‑led refugee welcome and resettlement across the UK. Their work spans training, resources, partnerships and on‑the‑ground support for groups welcoming refugees into their communities.
They came to Bravand with an outdated, extremely content‑heavy site that had grown difficult to navigate. Bravand led on strategy and UX, spending time mapping out the content and complex user journeys. I was brought in to handle the web build — turning that work into a robust, flexible WordPress site.

Reset’s site needed to serve multiple audiences — community groups, refugees, local authorities, partners and funders — each with different needs and entry points. The existing site structure and templates couldn’t cope with the volume or complexity of content.
Complex, content‑heavy site
with guidance, training, stories and resources for different audiences
Multiple user journeys
from community groups to local authorities and partners
Outdated templates
that made content hard to scan and harder to maintain
Need for a flexible build
to support ongoing updates and new programmes

Bravand led a detailed content and UX phase, mapping user journeys and restructuring the site so each audience could find what they needed without wading through everything else.
Working from their designs and content model, I:
The build was designed to support the complexity of Reset’s work without making the site feel overwhelming to visitors or staff.

The new Reset site gives the charity a clearer, more navigable home for its work on community‑led refugee welcome.
A modern WordPress build replacing an outdated site
Clearer journeys for key audiences, from community groups to local authorities
A flexible, maintainable site that can grow with Reset’s programmes
